As the Democrats realize they will probably lose many seats this November with the mid-term elections, they are utilizing all means of corruption as a last attempt to save themselves. I said before, as I am stating now, they will stop at nothing to keep their power.

The following is from the Houston Chronicle, reporting that yes, it is business as usual for the Democrats. Another “Acorn type” organization here in Texas, called “Houston Votes”, has submitted bogus votes and yes, even non-citizen votes to aid their candidates.

This is only part of the article, to read the whole story:

Harris County Tax Assessor Collector Leo Vasquez accused a nonprofit group of submitting thousands of bogus voter registration applications in recent months in what he said appears to be a campaign to taint the voter rolls.

Vasquez said his office has received thousands of duplicate applications, including cases in which the office has received six applications for the same person. Other irregularities he cited in the more than 25,000 applications submitted by Houston Votes include cases of underage applicants and people who identified themselves as non-citizens.

“The integrity of the voter roll of Harris County, Texas, appears to be under an organized and systematic attack by the group operating under the name Houston Votes,” Vasquez said.

The group is the voter registration arm of Texans Together, which works to increase civic participation in low-income neighborhoods.

QUESTIONABLE APPLICATIONS

Among the findings by voter registration officials who reviewed 25,640 applications submitted by Houston Votes:

• 7,193 resulted in new voters.

• Another 10,500 are presumed legitimate, but are being checked at the Secretary of State’s office for name and address changes.

• 1,597 different people applied to vote at least twice.

• 325 applications were from underage applicants.

• 25 applications were from people who identified themselves as non-citizens.

• 1,014 applications were from people who already were voters.

• 3,531 applications were rejected because the information in their applications did not match their driver’s license or Social Security numbers.

Lately, my son has been telling me about his weird dreams. I like to listen to him, as well, I can never remember my dreams.

Here’s his from last night.

The Infamous Game

I was home alone, and I could see this old guy and some teenagers outside the house, and I could tell they were going to break in.

Then it changes to I’m sitting on the bench outside the house and talking to one of the guys, who has a gun….then he tells me “I’m gonna kill you now” So, I ask him if I can go check something over in the yard, and he says ok. So I go and set a C-4 to kill them. I get back to the house, and set it off, using my cell phone, but it doesn’t kill them……. but it worked as a distraction. So I decide to run to Austin’s house (a friend who lives three houses away), I get there and see his dad walking around the house with only a speedo on, and he’s walking around really funny, like it is giving him a wedgie. So, I think to myself, “no, I’m not going in there.”

Speedos for Jesus

I remember that dad gave me a survival kit with a gun in it, so I go back home, find the gun and kill the old guy.

This is what C-4 explosives look like

The dream ends there.

So, some background info now. My son is a swimmer, and he wears speedos, so we’re guessing that is why someone in his dream had a speedo on….even though it was a neighbor. That gave us a good chuckle.

I asked him, “What is a C-4?”, because I have no idea what that is. It’s an explosive..…..I’m not up on all the names of explosives etc. but my son is, because he plays Modern Warfare II, and apparently he utilizes various guns and explosives in that game. So this is the reason he used an explosive in his dream.

He told me it was really a cool dream as he was being all “James Bond” like. I’m laughing to myself now. Oh the mind of a teenage boy!

We’ve all heard that the new “Obamacare” healthcare bill that passed (albeit illegally), would produce a huge infrastructure of bureaucratic agencies and a lack of individual choices. Well, I present to you what that will look like……Voila!

Does this look efficient?

The PDF may be viewed here: after you click, you click the box.

Obamacare_Chart

After looking at this, does anyone think that this will run “efficiently” and “cost-effectively”? I doubt it….it looks like a crazy puzzle. What’s with these insane people who design this crap and make it as complicated as possible?

Fortunately, Senator John Cornyn introduced a bill, The Health Care Bureaucrats Elimination Act, S.3653, cosponsored by Senators Orrin Hatch (R-UT), Jon Kyl (R-AZ), Pat Roberts (R-KS), and Tom Coburn (R-OK) to remove unelected, unaccountable bureaucrats from American seniors’ personal health decisions by repealing the Independent Payment Advisory Board (IPAB).

Keep an eye on this in the news, as I’m sure those in power now will shoot The Health Care Bureaucrats Elimination Act down.

For more details about the bill and the Health Care monstrosity, here is the information from Senator Cornyn’s web page.

Jul 27 2010

WASHINGTON — U.S. Senator John Cornyn (R-TX) today introduced a bill, The Health Care Bureaucrats Elimination Act, S.3653, cosponsored by Senators Orrin Hatch (R-UT), Jon Kyl (R-AZ), Pat Roberts (R-KS), and Tom Coburn (R-OK) to remove unelected, unaccountable bureaucrats from American seniors’ personal health decisions by repealing the Independent Payment Advisory Board (IPAB).

“In true fashion of Obama-Reid-Pelosi hubris, the IPAB is the definition of a government takeover,” said Senator Cornyn. “America’s seniors deserve the ability to hold elected officials accountable for the decisions that affect their Medicare, but IPAB would take that away from seniors and put power in the hands of politically-appointed Washington bureaucrats. This bill to repeal IPAB is just one step towards starting over with real health care reform that empowers patients instead of beltway bureaucrats.”

“The $2.6 trillion health spending law fails to address a serious challenge facing our nation – skyrocketing health care costs. The White House chose to punt tough decisions to a bunch of bureaucrats with no accountability to the American people,” said Senator Hatch. “In response, we’ve come together with this common-sense legislation to put a stop to an unelected board with unprecedented power over the health decisions of every American senior. Making our government more responsive to the people we represent, like we are doing with this legislation, is how we rebuild the public’s trust.”

“The most dangerous consequence of a Washington takeover of health care is the inevitable rationing that will result in the delay and denial of care,” said Senator Kyl. “The IPAB, a group of unelected Washington bureaucrats, will decide whether certain tests and treatments ‘cost too much’ and therefore won’t be covered under the new law. By repealing the IPAB, we take one step forward in protecting the sacred patient-doctor relationship and ensuring access to the highest quality medical care.”

“On the hook to find $500 billion in cuts to pay for the new health care law, IPAB is yet another government body tasked with rationing to contain costs,” Senator Roberts said. “Access to quality care for seniors is threatened by decisions made behind closed doors by unelected and unaccountable government officials.”

“Health reform should empower families with more choices, not put government bureaucrats and rationing boards in the middle of medical decisions,” said Senator Coburn. “The Independent Payment Advisory Board is a government command-and control bureaucracy that will dictate payment decisions and interfere with the best judgment of physicians and families. The task of repealing this misguided law begins here.”

Senator Cornyn’s bill is one of a series of bills, including legislation to repeal burdens on small businesses and job-killing taxes, to highlight specific problems with the Democrats’ health care law. After taking $528 billion from the nearly bankrupt Medicare program to create a $2.6 trillion new entitlement, the Obama-Reid-Pelosi health care law created an unelected, unaccountable board of bureaucrats to make additional cuts to the Medicare program based on arbitrary global budget targets. The IPAB would empower 15 bureaucrats to make substantial changes to Medicare—without full transparency and accountability to America’s seniors and their elected officials. Additionally, Senator Cornyn and co-sponsors of the bill note several other issues with IPAB, which include:

* Product of Politics: While the designers of IPAB contend it will depoliticize the Medicare payment process, the IPAB’s very charter is the product of politics. Special interest groups cut deals with Democrats to specifically exempt hospitals, 28 percent of Medicare’s budget, from the IPAB’s ax. Additionally, IPAB simply takes decision-making authority from elected officials and gives it to the President’s political appointees.

* Shirked Responsibility: While IPAB was sold as a mechanism to address entitlement spending, the reality is that IPAB allowed Congress to punt to an unaccountable board the responsibility of fully paying for a budget busting new entitlement program. The history of the $371 billion Sustainable Growth Rate problem has shown that punting budget problems down the road only makes them worse for patients, providers, and taxpayers.

* Fallible Bureaucrats: IPAB’s body of “experts” was modeled in many ways after the Medicare Payment Advisory Commission (MedPAC). However, MedPAC doesn’t always get it right, and its recommendations are carefully examined by Congress before legislative action. A news report last year noted that , “The Medicare Payment Advisory Commission, created by Congress in 1997, has recommended more than $200 billion in cost cuts in the last year alone that lawmakers have ignored.”

* Jeopardized Access: IPAB has raised significant concerns among a diverse group of health care provider groups. 75 provider groups sent a letter stating their opposition to IPAB stating, “The IPAB reductions would be in addition to the…savings in provider payments already included in health care reform legislation, which could jeopardize both access for Medicare beneficiaries and even infrastructure for the entire health care system.”

A pilot program in Tanzania, is currently using trained giant rats to sniff human sputum samples to detect Tuberculosis (TB). This is a contagious and potentially fatal disease that can affect almost any part of the body but manifests mainly as an infection of the lungs.

These giant rats are said to have improved disease detection by 44 percent, as they find TB that is not detected by conventional testing.

According to the World Health Organization, TB can be difficult to detect under the microscope, and estimates are that 2 billion people around the world are infected with it.

Besides being able to detect TB, these rodents are also good at detecting land mines. In the full article, it is stated that, “Whatever dogs can detect, rats can detect equally well, a rat can be trained for one-fifth the cost. They’re more calm than most small animals, very intelligent and social, and they love humans.”

The news is that World War Three is supposed to start in November of this year (yes 2010), and end in 2014.

To make things worse, it isn’t going to be just any old war….no….there will be nukes too!

So, in preparation of this impending “End of the world” and “Armageddon”, I have been searching for information, equipment, and supplies to better survive this soon to be doomsday event.

The weird thing is I was talking on the phone with one of my brothers, just yesterday, and I happened to mention to him, “Oh, by the way, WWIII is supposed to start in November”. To my surprise, he replied, “Yeah, I know….right before the elections”. The even weirder thing is we were so blasé about it, and nonchalant…..like that is some kind of normal part of a conversation. I kind of laughed to myself, as I thought how bizarre our conversation would sound to an outsider.

The basic nuclear survival kit.

We both laughed, as he stated….”you tell Steve this kind of stuff all the time, and he ignores you right?”, and I replied, “yes, he thinks i’m crazy”, and he said, “Well, Birdie ignores me too!” (Birdie is his wife’s nickname).

So, I told him I was researching for bomb shelter information, either a ready-made one, or instructions on how to build one, and that I would e-mail him the video of the prediction I saw regarding this WWIII.

Home sweet home. Looks like the yellow submarine?

I really hope this “war thing” isn’t going to happen, as I really don’t like camping. I know you are thinking, “What? What is she talking about?” But lets face it, whenever a disaster happens, it is just like camping. No electricity, no running water, no microwave to warm up a “quick” meal, no T.V. Or computer. It will be just like camping…..and oh such an inconvenience. Especially the part about going to the “out house”, to do your duty. I just don’t like it period.

Ready made military meals.....don't they look yummy!

The last time we had water and power out was because of a hurricane (and that was just a week), I ended up dipping in the swimming pool (albeit dirty), to try to bathe myself. I was NOT a happy camper. I really like being clean and smelling good, I don’t like to sweat….especially all day, everyday.

I consider myself a “survivor” and non-high maintenance woman, I know how to do a lot of survivor type stuff, like fishing and hunting, and I have a post for you men later regarding why you should not chose a high-maintenance woman (yes, you really do need to think with your head…not the other one in your pants) for these type of emergencies….do you really want a whiny woman who cries because her nail broke? Or do you want a woman who isn’t afraid of spiders, bears, or blood thirsty zombies?…..yeah….you choose. But like I said that is a post for a later time.

So….I have some land secured in a far away remote place (an undisclosed location), and while looking for my much needed supplies, I ran across this, “Survival Island for sale”. Wow, how lucky could I be?

The ultimate survival island....has a landing strip.

My own island with an air-strip and everything! It is out in the middle of the Caribbean too!

And if you want to see a video about it, you can here:

The only bad thing, is well it is $5 million dollars (for the opening bid). Darn it! I just don’t have that kind of money lying around. And I really wanted my own island for this impending WWIII!

If any of you are wealthy and have an extra five million, and are feeling generous, please contact me, and we’ll work out something.

In the mean time, I suggest we all go to Costco, or Sams’ Club, and start stocking up on toilet paper and other necessities for this war. Also, if any of you want to provide some great survivor info. Well, please do share!

from: visualparadox.com

I’m trying to keep a positive attitude….but man it sure is difficult.

Ciao!

Trisho

p.s.  Here’s a link to the stuff: Survival
